How can I Give?


We thank you for being the light of christ in a weary world by supporting his church and your parish community here at st. clare of assisi. we depend on your generosity to continue to build up the kingdom of god on earth! read on to learn the various ways you can give to st. clare:

1. Online Giving

Faith Direct is the company we use to process electronic donations. we are assured easy and secure electronic transfers that utilize standard banking level cyber security to protect donors and parish assets. all parish collection campaigns are listed on the faith direct page. you can set up recurring payments or quick one-time donations to give whenever you choose! Click the button above to be redirected to the faith direct sign up page. there, you can choose to create a recurring giving account or make a one-time donation.

Online giving is not the only option! our parish also offers the traditional method of tithing by sending weekly, dated envelopes or envelopes for special occasions to your home; these can be filled with cash or check. when you register as a parishioner, please select “no” under electronic giving and select “yes” under paper envelopes. envelopes are sent out quarterly - please stop by the parish office and request stock envelopes until yours arrive in the mail.

We are pleased to receive your donation of capital gain property (stocks, bonds, etc.). we currently manage stock transfers through to diocese of phoenix. read through the process here.

as with any sizeable donation or donation through less conventional means, like with stocks or bonds, please consult your financial advisor prior to transfer.

4. Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD)

annual distributions from an IRA are usually treated as taxable income, which can increase your tax liability. you can avoid or reduce this taxable income when you make a qualified charitable distribution from your iRA directly to st. clare of assisi parish. learn about the restrictions and exclusion limits here.

5. Continue your legacy: remember st. clare in your will
