The Mission is on Wednesday evenings from 6:00-9:00pm for 4 weeks in July. This way you have time to discuss the topics
between sessions and get any questions that come up answered. It also allows you to get to know some of the other couples during breaks and before or after class. We will also do a pot luck on the fourth week for even more opportunity to make some new friends or spend time with old ones.
Even if you can't come all four nights, please come! It's FREE.

Topics
There is a lot of useful information that we will share with you over the course of our 4 evenings together.
We discuss: Love, marriage, family of origin, values, conscience, intimacy, communication, sexuality, expectations, the Mass, finances, and conflict resolution. We give you the Church’s teaching about Marriage as a Sacrament. We also provide you some tools that you can use to make your relationship stronger.
Prayer
Each night you will have the opportunity to pray with your spouse in a different way. The most intimate relationship you will ever have is with the God who made you and knows you perfectly. The second most intimate relationship you will ever have is with your spouse as you grow to know each other. Anything that you can do to connect those two relationships will make both of them stronger. Praying together is one of the best ways to do just that.
Some of the forms of prayer we will be doing are the Rosary, Lectio Divina, The Liturgy of the Hours, Journaling, and what I like to call the Infomercial Prayer. To find out why I call it that you’ll just have to come to the Mission.
Discussion
You will be given time each week to discuss important issues with your spouse. You will answer questions separately on a worksheet and then discuss your answers with each other. There will be some time for group discussion but most will be with just the two of you.
